New single "Irish Exit" out now + update on the blog

Hey friends, sorry for not posting for almost an entire year, this blog thing kind of slipped out of our mind but we're back with a new approach to the blog.

So the first news we share is old news from last november, during which we released our first new music in 2 years. "Irish Exit" is the first half of a single project we did with Sato Akira recording and mixing two new songs for us at Théâtre Outremont. These singles are more of a bridge between our inactive period and this coming year during which we're going to record our debut LP. These two songs did not arrive in time for the previous EP and arrived too late to be included in our LP because our sound is shifting away from this, hence why we release these two songs in between.

To continue on the first half of this post, we'll use this blog more as a website from now on. We'll announce shows, releases, tours and whatnot, but we'll focus more on this being a place outside social media to get more personalised updates on the band. We'll post tour photos, recording behind-the-scenes, but we won't continue the route of writing constantly about every show we do. I got the idea from Mike Watt at first with his hoot page and i realised that first, you gotta post constantly and about every show, and second, it becomes a very crowded thing that's more useful for archival purposes that informing people of what's happening with the band. So, with that said, i might ressurect the blog section someday, but will dedicate a tab to the blog instead of it being the main focus of this site, so that when you get here, everything is more organised and you're not presented with the blog as the main focus.

So that's it for now, i'm gonna post another message in two days already because we're releasing our second single, "Look Alive", on Friday the 6th. We're playing a release show for this single on Friday at p'tit ours in montreal.

g-bye
